I’m a developer and designer based in San Francisco, California. I’m originally from sunny Los Angeles but please don’t tell that to the Giants fans I work with. Outside of work I love to cook, draw, read, and (occasionally) write.

My family is full of graphic designers and illustrators. They introduced me to drawing, design, and typography at an early age. In college, I studied physics. After leaving school, I got increasingly interested in coding and there after decided to pursue it professionally.

My first experience in web development involved pasting code in to my MySpace profile. But my coding education really took off when my mom bought me this domain name on my 16th birthday. I’ve been breaking making websites ever since.

Today, I love working with JavaScript for all sorts of things: creating interfaces, bots, visualizations, and generative art. I hope to use my geeky powers only for good. Which is to say that over the course of my web development career I hope to build a better — or at least more joyful — web.
